Ommej Admin

An administration tool for case managers, therapists, etc., where they can see the answers given by users in the Ommej app.

System requirements

Ommej-Admin works on modern versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari browsers, on Windows, Mac and Linux. We recommend using the latest version for everything to work as intended.

It also works on Chromebooks, but it's not something we test. Please note that Ommej does not work in any version of Internet Explorer.

How do I log in?

All data is managed by a common database on a server in Sweden, which only Ommej's staff can access. But no one has access to the children's personal data, not even us at Ommej. Read more here.

How do I reset a child's password?

You cannot reset a child's password, they do it themselves in the app.

How do I reset an employee's password?

They can themselves press "Forgot the password" on the login page and they will receive an email with instructions.

How do I reset my own password?

Press "Forgot password" on the login page and enter the email address you are registered with and you will receive an email with instructions.

How do I move a case from one employee to another employee?

You do this under "Manage case". Check this out.

Can I ask the child questions?

Ommej works as a conversation with the child, where the child owns his story. The child can change their answers at any time, or reset their answers to start over. But you as an adult cannot change the child's story.

If in your conversations with the child you have come to the conclusion that he should start over, you can ask the child to reset his answers. See here for instructions.

The app

Who can see my answers if I answer in Ommej?

If you have received an invitation from an adult at a business that works with children and young people and you have accepted it in the app, that person can see your responses. It could be, for example, the school counselor or a psychologist.

If you downloaded Ommej yourself or started using the app on the web, no one can see your answers. Only if you yourself choose to share your story with someone via the app, i.e. you invite a person, they can see some of your answers. Which answers they will be able to see are displayed in the app before the invitation is sent.

Where is the main menu in the app?

You can always find the main menu if you click on the house at the very top right of the screen.

How do I know the person I shared with received my replies?

By law, we have to ensure that you are completely anonymous in the app and we are not allowed to tell anyone who you are. It might be a good idea to let the person know that you've sent them something, as you can't be entirely sure if the person you've shared with understands whose story they've received.

How do I change my password?

When you are logged out, you can click on "Log in" and then on "Forgot your password?" at the bottom of the page. Then you can enter your email address or your phone number (use the one you used when you created your account). Click "OK" and you will receive an email or SMS with information on how to change your password.

Where do I see my answers?

In the main menu, click My Story. There are all the answers you gave in the app. You can always find the main menu if you click on the house at the very top right of the screen.

How do I change my answers?

You can change your answers at any time. Here's how you do it.

How do I change my avatar?

In the main menu, you can press the "change" button located at the top right of your avatar image. You can always find the main menu if you click on the house at the very top right of the screen.

How do I change my age?

In the main menu there is the button "My profile". Click on it and then on the pencil symbol next to the button that says "I was born in year". Now you can choose a new year of birth.

How do I change my gender?

In the main menu there is the button "My profile". Click on it and then on the pencil symbol next to the button that says “I am…”.

How do I start over?

It is possible to reset your answer and start over. See here how to do it.
