What are you doing?

"When a child gives up hope for the future, when all light turns to darkness, when there is nothing worth fighting for anymore, when life feels overwhelming. Then it is a failure on the part of society. It shouldn't be like that. No one should have to feel this bad.”

So writes Sofie Sarenbrant in her chronicle in Expressen. This after a child in her vicinity had no strength left to live.

In Ommej, we see that around 3 children in each class have a low belief in the future. No wonder so many children and young people - more than in any other comparable Western European country - choose not to stay to see what the future holds.

What should we do to reverse the trend? What are you doing?
