Good research results at Ommej

- It can be difficult for children to talk about their situation with a stranger. It could be that they are bullied at school or that there are problems at home. The idea is that many young people, who feel comfortable with new technology, would rather tell about their lives with the help of an app.

That's according to Nancy Russo, university lecturer at Malmö University, who together with an interdisciplinary team of researchers studied the effect of Ommej in three of the municipalities that chose to work with the tool in activities such as social services, child psychiatry and student health. When the children had to articulate the problem, they got straight to the core, was the statement.

"They saw that children had the ability to speak for themselves, their voice came out more."
